Police issue plea to trace relatives following Hartlepool man's death

A plea has been made to trace relatives of a pensioner following his death earlier this week.

Teesside coroner’s officers have appealed for anyone related to Anthony Gamlen who lived in the Seaton Carew area of Hartlepool, to contact them by telephone.

A statement issued on their behalf by Cleveland Police on May 19 read: “The Coroner’s Office are appealing for relatives of Anthony Gamlen, from Bolton Grove, Seaton Carew, in Hartlepool, who sadly passed away aged 71 on Monday, May 17.

“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
