Durham County Council is planning to introduce the new speed limit in Beverley Way, in Peterlee, from its junction with Acre Rigg Road to its junction with Willerby Grove.

A copy of the draft order plans and supporting documents can be inspected on the council’s www.durham.gov.uk/ website and at Peterlee Library, in the town’s St Cuthbert’s Way, during normal opening hours.

Anyone who wishes to object to the proposals should send their grounds of objection in writing to Sharon Renwick, legal assistant at County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UQ, or by sending an email to [email protected], quoting reference number 29288, by the deadline of Thursday, June 3.
