Rotary Hartlepool support Manners & Harrison in fundraiser for Dementia UK

A coffee morning in aid of dementia care was hailed an outstanding success after raising almost £1,000.

Charitable organisation Rotary Hartlepool supported town estate agents Manners & Harrison in the fundraiser held at Hartfields retirement village.

The event was organised by Manners & Harrison senior manager Marc Hindson and his enthusiastic team.

It was well supported by Hartfields which is home to over 300 people and raised an impressive £963 for Dementia UK.

Manners & Harrison, based in York Road, became corporate members of Rotary Hartlepool earlier this year in a joint partnership to benefit the local community and also support Rotary’s wider humanitarian work.

Members of Rotary Hartlepool presented a cheque on behalf of Dementia UK.

The charity offers vital support for families and carers affected by dementia, including through their specialist nurses known as Admiral Nurses.

Someone in the UK develops the condition every three minutes making it one of the biggest health challenges of our time.
