Search for Hartlepool pensioner's family and friends after his death in hospital

A search has been launched to find the friends and family of a Hartlepool pensioner following his death in hospital.

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust has asked for help to find people who knew John Caffrey, 69, who is known to have lived in the town recently.

Anyone who can help is asked to contact the trust’s bereavement office.

It is staffed from Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm and can be called on (01642) 383 286 or the mortuary on (01642) 624 347.
