Hide AdCarla, who works full-time at NM Money bureux de change in Hartlepool, has no plans to make a career from her talent – but is working towards reaching a wider audience on her Instagram page @colours_bycarla.
She shared some of her impressive festive creations with the Mail last year and has now revealed that they are starting to gain wider-recognition online, with leading make-up brand, Amor Beauty Cosmetics, liking and sharing some of her images.
Carla said: “It’s nice to have that recognition.
"After being in the Mail I have had more people on my make-up page on Instagram and had people message me about doing weddings.
"I have hashtagged Amor Beauty Cosmetics and the brand has seen my posts and sent me some eyelashes as a thank you for using their products.

"I think in time I would like to become an influencer.”
Using a mix of face paints and make-up pallets, the talented mum can take more than two hours to create one of her striking designs.
Although things are taking off on social media, the devoted mum has no plans to make it a full-time job, saying she wants to continue getting enjoyment from her hobby.
And her latest looks have gone down a storm online as Carla experiments with illusion designs and creative Disney-inspired scenes from the likes of Peter Pan.
