The Hartlepool man who is tackling a challenge a month - and he's determined to help us all feel more positive
Scott Standing, 32, will climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon to support the town-based mental health charity MindsForMen/WellnessForWomen.
It is part of Scott’s hope of creating positivity and active mental health at a time when many people have faced struggles during the lockdown.

Hide AdTo set the perfect example, Scott will hope to complete the Three Peaks Challenge within 24 hours, starting at 3pm on Thursday August 13.
"I will be doing all the driving and the hiking on my own,” said Scott, who used to be a Royal Marine.
Scott, who is a director with an inspection company, is also doing the challenge to ‘achieve the ethos of an active mind is a healthy mind’
"I want to promote a healthy lifestyle.”
He feels this is the perfect time to encourage others to do something active in their own way because the world has faced months of restrictions under lockdown.

Hide AdHe said on social media: “Most of us suffer from some form of mental health issues, be it stress at work or life traumas.This campaign is directed at promoting an active lifestyle in an effort to reduce mental health issues. By following and using the hashtag #ActiveMindHealthyMind I would like to make a trend that gets people active at the same time as raising money for a fantastic charity.”
Scott is bidding to do a challenge per month for the rest of 2020 and has provisionally already decided on his September project.
It will be a 182-mile coast-to-coast run and walk which he hopes to complete in seven days.
In the meantime, he is determined to get his series of challenges off to the perfect start with the Three Peaks Challenge tomorrow.
