The Hartlepool street where eight people have won on the Postcode Lottery

Eight neighbours in Nookston Close at Naisberry Park won £1,000 each when their postcode was selected.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson sent his well wishes and said: “I’m over the moon for our winners in Hartlepool! A big congratulations to everyone.

“I hope they celebrate and enjoy spending the cash.”

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities. The latest draw was promoted by ActionAid, which has received more than £8.4million in funding to change the lives of disadvantaged women and children all over the world.

Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £500million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

Recent postcode lottery winners include residents in Miller Crescent and Torquay Avenue in Hartlepool and Bruce Kirkup Road and Dickins Walk in Peterlee.
