The street where three lucky neighbours are celebrating a lottery win

The Easington residents each netted £1,000 when SR8 3UQ was announced as a Daily Prize winner in the People’s Postcode Lottery on Thursday, September 10.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners and said: “What a great surprise for our winners!

"Congratulations to them and I hope this news has made their day.”

A share of the ticket sale proceeds for the draw went to the children and young people’s cancer charity Clic Sargent which has received more than £10.9 million in funding in total thanks to players.

It is because at least 32% of ticket sales goes directly to various charities. Players of the People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
