Three people in this Hartlepool street are each celebrating a lottery windfall

The neighbours in Brierton Lane, Hartlepool, all netted £1,000 when their TS25 4AA postcode was announced as a daily prize winner with the People’s Postcode Lottery.

Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson said after the Wednesday, January 27, draw: “I’m over the moon for our winners in Hartlepool.

"A big congratulations to everyone. I hope they celebrate tonight and enjoy spending the cash.”

The Brierton Lane windfall follows a spate of similar lottery payouts across the Hartlepool area in 2020.

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and lottery players have raised more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted on behalf of the Postcode Culture Trust, which inspires learning, understanding and appreciation of science, music, arts and culture.
