Monty Blues Barber Shop, in Seaside Lane, Easington Village, has applied to add tattoos to the list of services available.

The scheme was submitted to Durham County Council late last year (2018), but was only formally accepted by the council’s planning department last week (Tuesday, January 22).

According to the application, if approved hair styling will be available 9am – 5pm Tuesday – Friday and 9am – 3pm on Saturdays, but tattooist hours would be simply be ‘flexible’.
