Police investigate unexplained death in Hartlepool
POLICE are investigating the sudden death of a 27-year-old Hartlepool man.
Detectives, uniformed officers, and scenes of crime experts were sent to an address in Moore Terrace, on Hartlepool’s Headland, at 8am, on Sunday, September 14, following reports that a man had been found dead.
Officers say a member of the man’s family found his body.
The death is currently not being treated as suspicious.
A Cleveland Police spokesman said: “There has been a death in Hartlepool. We were called to Moore Terrace at 8am to a report of a sudden death of a 27-year-old male.
“At present we are dealing with it as an unexplained death and it is not currently being treated as suspicious.
“Scenes of crime officers and police units have attended for further investigation.”
