Police's thanks to public and emergency services as missing woman located

Cleveland Police has thanked everyone who helped in the search for a missing woman, who has since been found.

Nicola MacIntosh, from Stockton, was last seen at around 7am on Wednesday, June 24.

It was thought she may have been in Seaton Carew, prompting a large-scale search supported by the Coastguard and police helicopter.

In a statement on Thursday, June 25, the force said: “Police are pleased to say that 50-year-old Nicola MacIntosh has been located.

“Thank you to everyone who shared the appeal.”
