Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Hartlepool to celebrate the victory of by-election candidate Jill Mortimer as the town’s new Conservative MP.
The Prime Minister paid a visit to Hartlepool on Friday, May 7 to meet with new MP Jill Mortimer and congratulate her on winning the election.
An huge inflatable of Boris Johnson was placed at Hartlepool Marina ahead of his visit after Mrs Mortimer won the election by nearly 7,000 votes.
Boris Johnson has visited Hartlepool three times over the course of the election campaign, before visiting the town on May 7 to congratulate his new MP.
