“The Tees Valley Combined Authority is leading on the funding bid and we would urge local residents to support this process by providing their views on the proposed improvements.”
Examples of the intended work is to widen the eastbound approach from Burn Road to two lanes to boost capacity.
The existing roundabout at Owton Manor Lane and Seaton Lane is proposed to be replaced with a signalised junction to make it easier for traffic from these junctions to get on the A689.
