This is what you said on the Hartlepool Mail Facebook page:
Trevor Craddy: “The alternative is to make the lockdown voluntary but then have a database of those choosing to ignore it and refuse them all medical aid if they catch it. Yes, I know it wouldn't work but it frustrates me that those ignoring the rules currently are the first who will be screaming for help if they get infected.”
Peter Chamberlayne: “How can you consider anything else, when the contraction rate is still increasing. We are not even at the peak yet. Hopefully in about 10 days, it should start to fall.”
Linda Ann McArdle: “If it means saving lives, yes!”
Rea Brookes: “It will save lives if we follow rules.”
Kevin Guffick: “Full lockdown needed.”
Helen Caroline Marriage: “As long as idiots are breaking the rules the longer we need lockdown.”

Emily Brown: “There should be no end date given for the lockdown. It will take aslong as it takes - leave it as it is till the death rate is virtually nil.”
Joan Burbeck: “Logical way to go, the longer it goes on the less chance of more spread.”
Sue Charles: “The lockdown is a necessity to save lives.”
