Making Hartlepool a better place to live and work - ideas wanted for £25million bid

We are one of 100 towns across England that have been invited by the Government to develop innovative regeneration plans to transform their economic growth prospects and secure up to £25million of funding through the Towns Fund.
Each town is required to develop a Town Investment Plan which will help decide how much funding Hartlepool will get to make the plans happen.

Bringing life back into the town centre has already been identified as a key area of work for the project.
The survey states: “The available funding will help with our economic recovery from Covid-19 and will continue to help us build a stronger Hartlepool.
"It’s about improving things now and in the future and giving our town the chance for a better future.

People are asked to list their top priorities and how they would like the town to be in 10 years time.
Input will inform the development of BIG IDEAS for Hartlepool.
The aim of the Towns Fund is to drive economic regeneration to bring about long term economic and productivity growth through things like urban regeneration, skills and enterprise infrastructure and connectivity.
