Fenwick left Victoria Park at the end of last season when his Pools contract expired after the former non-league frontman had spent two years at the club.

The 26-year-old was evidently not part of manager Craig Hignett's plans after finishing the campaign on loan at Tranmere.

But Fenwick has now secured fresh employment after penning a one-year deal at York.

Fenwick netted six times for Pools last season - including winners against Wycombe and Newport, plus the opening goal in the FA Cup second round replay victory against Salford.
