Rowing boat rescue off the coast at Hartlepool

Volunteers were paged at 7.56am today, Thursday, August 27, to assist a 17ft covered rowing boat with two people that had fouled its rudder near Steetley pier.
The Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat 'Solihull' launched at 8.08am and was alongside the casualty vessel at 8.23am. It was then towed to Hartlepool Marina where the local Coastguard team were waiting to assist.
The lifeboat returned to station at 9.35am and was ready for service by 10am.
