School reunion will benefit Teenage Cancer Trust
Ex-students from a school formed in a merger are due to reunite.
Those who attended Henry Smith’s from 1958 are welcome to a night of entertainment in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust on Saturday, May 14.
It is being planned by Stephen McGregor, who was a student at King Oswy.
It joined Henry Smith Grammar School and Galley’s Field Comprehensive to create the new school.
Stephen, 55, a driver for event sponsor Taxi 23, said: “People are looking forward to it and some haven’t seen each other for 40 years.”
Tickets are £5 from Nisa in King Oswy Drive, the Headland Co-op and John the Butchers in Davison Drive.
