Scrap HS2

I would like to advocate that the £50bn High Speed Two rail project is cancelled.

There was no real democratic consultation with the citizens of this country who have seen services cut and taxes increased.

The economic benefit from HS2 is next to nothing.

Instead invest £15bn in reducing rail fares; £10bn on existing infrastructure; £15bn in cutting fuel duty for motorists, and £10bn in ending overcrowding by purchasing more trains.
