The search is continuing to find a man who went missing while visiting family in Hartlepool.

Mark Reid, 43, from London, was visiting family in Hartlepool when he said he was going to the Seaton Carew area, but didn't return.

Cleveland Police issued an appeal for help to trace him in the early hours of Sunday, July 12, but Mark has still not been found.

Now Durham Constabulary has shared the appeal on social media in the hope it will lead to information on Mark’s whereabouts.

The force said: “Mark could be anywhere in the country. Have you seen him? Please call 101.”

Mark is described as being of slim build, 5ft 11 ins tall, with long hair, which may be combed back. He sometimes wears a cap.

He has name tattoos on his chest. It is not known what he was last seen wearing.
