Star Wars characters due back at Hartlepool toy shop

Characters from Star Wars will be '˜entertaining' in Hartlepool on Saturday.

The Entertainer toy shop in Middleton Grange Shopping Centre is welcoming back the 99th Garrison for a day of family fun.

This follows on from an event held in March which proved a big hit with interaction for all age groups, photo opportunities, give-aways and competitions.

The event is on from 10am to 3pm and the store will be collecting for The Toy Box Charity – toybox.org.uk

Established in 2010, 99th Garrison is an independent Star Wars costume group owned and run by its members.

The 99th Garrison operates mainly in the Northern part of the UK, with but also has outposts in the East Midlands, North Wales, North West and North Lincolnshire.

The organisation’s primary aim is to raise funds and awareness for charities and worthy causes, as well as attending the occasional wedding and birthday party.
