Organisers staging the vintage and classic car show say there will be vehicles dating from the 1930s to the 2000s.

Paul Jackson, of the Northern Bygones Society, says there will be a variety of vehicles including MGs, Morris, Fords, British Leylands, American cars and many more.

There will be a bucket collection for Diabetes UK and The British Heart Foundation, which are being supported by the organisation this year.

A presentation of the best vehicles in show will be held at 3pm.

“They’ll bring back lots of memories for older visitors, while youngsters will really enjoy seeing how automotives have changed over the years.”

“The society stages up to 15 car shows a year and Hartlepool is a hugely popular area for the society.

“If you would like to show your own vintage or classic vehicle then please just turn up on the day.”
