Sunderland confirm Adam Johnson won't be involved against Manchester United
Man United visit the Stadium of Light in a televised game on Saturday lunchtime, as Sunderland look to improve their situation in the relegation dogfight.
But Johnson will not be involved in the game amid his going involvement in court.

Hide AdSunderland boss Sam Allardyce said today: "Johnson won't be available."
Johnson, 28, yesterday admitted one count of meeting a girl under 16 following sexual grooming, and one count of sexual activity with a child.
He has denied two further offences of sexual activity with a child, and will stand trial on these charges.
Jurors will begin to hear his case tomorrow morning at Bradford Crown Court.

Hide AdA jury has been sworn in, and will return to court at 10.30am tomorrow.
Johnson came on as a second half sub against Liverpool at the weekend, scoring a free-kick as Sunderland came from behind to secure a 2-2 draw.
