Suspected cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value in excess of £7,500 have been found hidden in a wardrobe and loft in Billingham.

The suspected drugs were discovered on Sunday, January 31 after a warrant was executed at the property on Crescent Avenue.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession with intent to supply class B drugs. He was bailed pending further inquiries.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs. She was also bailed pending further inquiries.
