Devante Rodney

For the visit of Guiseley to Victoria Park this afternoon, Bates has thrown Devante Rodney in to his first-team from the off, with Rhys Oates dropping to the bench.

Otherwise, it's an unchanged XI for Bates, as Carl Magnay continues at the heart of defence with Lewis Hawkins at right-back.

Liam Donnelly again misses out with an ankle problem but after six months out, Ryan Donaldson is again named on the Pools bench.
