Three people injured after car crash in street

Fire crews were called out following a road crash this evening.

It happened in Gainford Terrace in the Lower Grange area of Billingham.

The crash involved two cars and three people were left injured.

Fire crews from Billingham and Stockton stations rushed to the scene.

Firefighters administered first aid to those affected before making the vehicles involved safe.

The accident happened just before 6pm.
