Tickets are going fast for a Hartlepool dance show

It looks like being a super sellout '“ so get booking now if you want a ticket.

That’s the message to dance lovers from the KR Dance team in Hartlepool which is putting on a show called Untouchable.

It will be held at the Town Hall Theatre, which is in Raby Road.

The four-night show runs from April 5 to April 8 with doors opening at 6pm for a 6.30pm start each evening.

Tickets are £9.50 or £8.50 with concessions and are now on sale.

But KR spokesman Sophie Barker said: “They have almost sold out the Saturday night with only a few tickets remaining. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday also have limited availability so we urge people to get in touch fast to ensure they get a ticket.”

l From the KR studios, which are based in Dalton Street and are open on week nights from 4pm to 9pm, or from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays. People can also contact the studio through its Facebook page.

l And tickets are also available at the theatre box office, which is based at the tourist information centre in Church Square. To get in touch, contact (01429) 890000.

Sophie said the show was going to be a real mix of different types of entertainment and the cast would consist of performers from a wide age range.

“The show will involve all dance students from babies to adults,” she said.

“They will be showcasing ballet, pointe work, tap, modern, jazz, gymnastics, acrobatics, singing, musical theatre, aerial arts including aerial hammock, aerial hoop, pole fitness and something brand new to Hartlepool that has never been seen on the Town Hall Stage once again.

“All students have been working incredibly hard following from the success of last year’s show. Kim and her students are always striving to be better than their last performance and this year is no different.”

All this comes after the dance school enjoyed a busy end to last year.

Activities included a Christmas fair and the KR Dance pantomime, Aladdin.

Earlier in the year, the school held its performance of Hairspray, also at the Town Hall Theatre, and dance school owner Kim Ross praised her “hardworking students” for “putting together an entire West End style show”.

And back in June, the studio held a charity night to pay its own tribute to the excellent work being done by Macmillan nurses.
