Double crash on A19 near Seaham causes delays for traffic

A collision is causing delays for traffic this evening following on from an earlier incident close to the same spot on the A19.

The AA has reported the road is partially blocked due to the crash, which happened at around 5pm today, Thursday, April 1

It has happened on the northbound carriageway near the B1404 Seaton Lane and added it is not known at this stage which lanes are restricted.

A separate incident on the southbound side of the route also caused issues for traffic.
