Emergency services at scene of a crash involving car and van in Hartlepool

Emergency services have been called to a two-vehicle collision in Grange Road, Hartlepool .

Cleveland Police has confirmed it was called to the crash, which is believed to be near the Mulgrave Road junction, at around 2.40pm on Friday, March 20.

Traffic is moving in the area but motorists can expect some delays.

A force spokeswoman said: “We received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Grange Road, Hartlepool at around 2.40pm.

“A red Volkswagen Up and a white Renault van are involved.”

There were no reports of any injuries and one fire engine from Stranton station attended to clear fuel from the road.
