Emergency services called to scene of seafront crash in Seaton Carew

Fire crews, paramedics and police were called to the crash which occurred on The Front, in Seaton Carew at 3.15pm on Sunday, April 18.
Cleveland Fire Brigade has confirmed two vehicles were involved in the collision and two casualties were given first aid – including one who was given oxygen – at the scene before being handed over to the ambulance service.

Hide AdCrews from Hartlepool and Billingham attended and firefighters made the scene safe and dealt with a fuel spillage using an absorbent agent.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “We were called at 3.15pm to reports of a road traffic collision on The Green, in Seaton Carew.
"We dispatched a rapid response paramedic and an ambulance crew. They are currently still at the scene.”
Details regarding any injures have not yet been confirmed.
People have been urged to avoid the area as traffic remains slow.
