Tributes pour in for tragic Hartlepool youngster Ethan Owens
Hartlepool schoolboy Ethan Owens died after an eight-day fight for life after being knocked down in a road accident in the town.
Ethan, nine, had been in a critical condition since the collision on Marina Way in Hartlepool last Monday evening, and died in James Cook University Hospital.

Hide AdA pupil at Jesmond Gardens Primary School, Ethan, was airlifted to James Cook University Hospital in a critical condition where his parents, Paul Owens, 36, and Lisa Cooper, 37, had kept a bedside vigil.
Scores of messages of sympathy and support have been left on the Hartlepool Mail's Facebook page.
