Under threat

It is my sincere belief that to remain within the EU presents an ever growing threat to our security, not just as a sovereign nation but as a community at large.

The UK is part of the Five Eyes security council.

This relationship will be under threat from dilution as the EU begins to make more demands of the UK information and intelligence services.

I hear so much from others about leaving the EU being a threat to UK military operations abroad, and our own shores being in peril.

The UK have been a member of an organisation far longer than the EU, one that caters to our security, and the security of countries worldwide working side by side with our own military.

This organisation is NATO.

Whether or not the EU will form its own army, the fact remains that we have little or no say in the deployment or withdrawal of our own servicemen and women.

This leaves us dangerously exposed as long as we remain.

I am aware that all the points raised are of a military/security nature but that is the background I come from.
