Venator brings communities Together
The Wynyard-based pigment and additives specialist has launched a £20,000 Community Fund to promote teamwork and innovation amongst groups and organisations across the North East.
The Together Fund is the first of two to be set up under the umbrella Community Fund, which will each make 40 grants of £250.

Karen Fenwick, Vice President Corporate Branding and Communications, said: “By its very nature, teamwork is positive and collaborative – something that helps to bring people together within a community. Through the Together Fund, we hope to reward grassroots groups and organisations that share our values of togetherness and teamwork.
“Venator is a New York Stock Exchange listed global business with sites at Wynyard Park, Greatham and Birtley and with over 800 employees in the region, we think it’s important to give back to the communities where we live and work.”
The Together Fund is open for entries until midnight on August 31.
