We would be submerged

He was the second prime minister to do so in my lifetime.

Neville Chamberlain was the first, and we finished up with the Second World War.

He then faded into obscurity after all his illustrious claims.

Mr Cameron is now on the same footing, but not with the same disastrous results as Mr Chamberlain.

Nevertheless, his piece of paper would lead Britain to be submerged into a union whose future is not really economically secure.

Swamped in the bureaucracy of a would-be super state of Europe.

Issues of national interest to our economical substance and welfare, our local infrastructure, the NHS and housing could be resolved if we had control of our future.

That can be obtained by a vote to exit the EU, giving Mr Cameron the opportunity to gracefully fade into obscurity, as he promised not to serve a third term as Prime Minister.
