Hartlepool's weekly forecast as town set for sunny intervals and heavy showers

According Met Office forecasters, Hartlepool looks set for a week of mixed weather with sunny spells and heavy rain.

As we start a new week, the town looks set to experience some bright but wet weather from Monday, May 10.

Met Office forecasters are predicting that Hartlepool will see sunny spells from Monday to Wednesday with some heavy rain showers spread throughout as temperatures remain fairly mild.

However by the end of the week it will be cooler and cloudier – although the rain is predicted to stay away.

Monday, May 10

A fairly cloudy start to the day with heavy showers predicted to begin from around 10am and last most of the day.

The sun will continue to shows its face at different spells during the day and the rain looks set to stop from 7pm.

Temperatures will reach highs of 15C at around 2pm, according to the Met Office forecast.

Another sunny start to the day with temperatures reaching 13C by 1pm.

However from early afternoon clouds will emerge and there is a chance of light rain at around 7pm.

Wednesday, May 12

Wednesday is forecast to be dry with sunny spells throughout the day and high temperatures of 13C. There is a chance of rain at around 4pm.

Thursday, May 13 to Saturday, May 15

There is expected to be some sunshine on throughout Thursday.

However on Friday and Saturday the forecast is predominately cloudy with high temperatures dropping from earlier in the week to as little as 10C on Friday.
