Hour-by-hour temperature forecast as Hartlepool is set for a mini-heatwave

The Met Office is predicting a rise in temperatures over the next few days across the UK, with Hartlepool set to experience highs of 25°c.

The Met Office website says: “It should stay dry across the region with some good spells of sunshine. Feeling warm inland, but developing onshore breezes will keep coastal areas a little cooler.”

As we head into the weekend, the Met Office is predicting it to be slightly cooler however both Thursday and Friday are looking very warm.

Here is your hour-by-hour forecast for Thursday, August 6 and Friday, August 7:

Thursday:

11am to 12pm: Cloudy with some sunny spells, 19°c.

1pm to 4pm: Sunny, 19°c.

5pm to 6pm: Sunny with cloudy spells, 20°c.

7pm: Cloudy, 20°c.

8pm: Cloudy, 22°c.

9pm to 11pm: Clear skies and looking to be a warm night, 21°c.

Friday:

12am to 5am: Clear skies, 17°c.

6am: Cloudy with some sunny spells, 17°c.
