What a relief as runners complete seafront challenge for charity

Charity champs went the extra mile for Sport Relief.

Runners completed distances of one, three or six miles at today’s event on the promenade between Seaton Carew and Hartlepool, crossing the finishing line at the marina.

The event saw sponsorship cash added to this year’s record breaking £55million-plus cash pot.
