And I don’t know what to believe.

My friends, who are older than I am,

Said that Santa is just a big wheeze.

They say he doesn’t live in the Arctic,

And that none of his reindeer can fly.

And that Rudolph never had a red nose,

And last year he never ate your mince pie.

But mam, last year when I saw him

He asked me if I’d been good.

I told him a lie and said that I had,

And he winked at me under his hood.

Does he really live up in the Arctic,

And can all his reindeer fly?

Can Prancer and Dancer run like the wind,

And does Cupid really give Comet the eye?

Do Donner and Blitzen create thunder and lighting

When they’re prancing and dancing on high?

And does Vixen always run beside Dasher

When chasing the dawn from the eastern sky?

Does Rudolph really have a red nose

That lights his way round the sky?

And mam did you post that letter last week

Just in case he enjoyed last year’s mince pie?
