Witness appeal after car collides with bus and food delivery vehicle in Hartlepool

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a three-vehicle-collision in Hartlepool over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The crash happened at around 8.15pm on Sunday, 30 May, when a blue Vauxhall Vectra car collided with a bus and a food delivery vehicle.

The incident took place on Oxford Road at the junction with Jackson Street in Hartlepool.

Cleveland Police have said that the two male occupants of the Vauxhall Vectra made off from the scene after the collision.

Officers from the force are now asking for witnesses or anyone who might have dash cam footage to come forward.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have information or dash cam footage is asked to contact Acting Sergeant Lee Benson from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit, quoting incident number 087534.
