Woman taken to hospital after two-car crash in Hartlepool

Emergency services were called to the junction of Victoria Road and York Road in the town yesterday evening.
One woman required hospital treatment after the accident but it is not believed that her injuries were serious.

Hide AdCelveland Police and Cleveland Fire and Rescue Service and the North East Ambulance Service were called.
A police spokesperson said: “Police received a call at 6.07pm last night (Sunday) reporting a two vehicle collision on Victoria Road in Hartlepool.
"An orange Ford Ranger and a blue Mazda saloon had collided near the traffic lights and a female occupant of the Ford was complaining of neck pain.
“Our colleagues from the ambulance and fire service attended and the woman was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for what appear to be minor injuries.
