Schools which gave their support included English Martyrs School and Sixth Form College with Clavering and St Bega’s Primary schools getting in on the fun.
Walton Clark Whitehill Accountants, Venator Group UK and all of the support group’s own regular clubs also got involved.
A spokesperson from Venator Group said its Greatham site got involved and more than £1,100 was raised.
