Have a drive-in film experience or a summer car party

This summer will bring a chance to view outdoor screenings of classic films from the comfort of your own car.

Film choices will range from such ’80s favourites as Dirty Dancing, Back to the Future, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Labyrinth, The Goonies and The Blues Brothers.

Further viewings include Grease, The Lion King, Cool Runnings and The Greatest Showman, along with critically acclaimed ’90s films such as Pulp Fiction and Jurassic Park, and some of last year’s best releases (Joker and Knives Out).

However, the Adventure Drive-In is not just for film-fans.

For those missing club action and nights out, there will be in-car dance parties, where passengers can tune into club classics or ’80s and ‘90s party anthems.

These will be accompanied by arresting visuals on a giant LED screen with full light show.

Sound will be transmitted via speakers given to each car upon arrival, allowing passengers to tune in to different channels at the flick of a switch.

Adventure Drive-In is a new series powered by Adventure Cinema, an events company that has specialised in bringing outdoor cinema experiences to venues across the UK for the last three years.

To ensure the safety of its events, a number of measures will be put in place.

These will include social distancing, with space between parked cars, and entry scanned via registration plates on vehicles to avoid contact with staff.

Guests can bring their own food, snacks and drinks to enjoy during performances, in their vehicles.

Ben Lovell, co-director of Adventure Drive-In, said: “We feel that drive-in offers the perfect solution for events when social distancing is required.

“We’ll be using our breadth of experience from the last three years within outdoor cinema, creating a memorable experience for all those who attend.”

Tickets are priced at £27.50 plus booking fee and are available now via adventuredrivein.co.uk/locations site.
