Hartlepool United will be keeping tabs on several players who are to become free agents at the end of the month.
National League clubs have been making their moves already since the end of the 2022-23 campaign as players who are not to be offered new deals at their current club head out of contract.
And that includes several former Pools players across clubs throughout the divisions.
Here we look at 17 players to have featured for Hartlepool who have been released by their club this summer:
Cairns joined Hartlepool on an emergency loan deal from Fleetwood Town during the 2022-23 campaign before moving to Salford City on loan in the January transfer window. The former Leeds United goalkeeper is ending a seven year stay with Fleetwood this summer following his release. (Credit: Mark Fletcher | MI News)
