Hartlepool United’s National League match at home to Weymouth has been officially rearranged to the final day of the 2020-21 National League season on May 29 (3pm kick-off).

This fixture was initially set to take place this weekend on April 24 but due to neither Pools or Weymouth having a match on the final day of the season, the National League gave the green light for the rearrangement to take place.

Pools were expecting confirmation of the rearrangement last week with manager Dave Challinor voicing his frustration with the National League for the delay.

Now, just four days before the original fixture was set to take place, that confirmation has finally come through.

Pools will now kick-off at the same time as their promotion rivals on the final weekend of the season. Fans are also set to be permitted to return to Victoria Park for the first time this season as Hartlepool look to secure a Football League return.
