Pools currently sit just a point outside of the top seven and look set to mount their most serious play-off challenge since they were relegated to the fifth tier.

Over the next week, Challinor’s side face fellow play-off contenders Boreham Wood and Solihull Moors on the road as they look to pick up their first away win since November.

“There’s more to come from all of them in the squad,” Challinor said.

“I’m not digging anyone out because I think they can all improve and it’s our job to facilitate that. There are always going to be people in different runs of form and confidence, what it hasn’t done in the main is impact our results which is the most important thing.

“In a team of 16 or a starting 11, you can probably get away with one or two not having the best of games if the other nine can pull them out and that will always be the case.

“Hopefully someone [against Boreham Wood] on Saturday has an absolute worldie and wins us the game.

“Often it will be one or two moments of magic in terms of a block, a tackle or a strike that will decide a football match and what goes on in between that isn’t always that important.”
