It’s been 14 years since Hartlepool were last top of the table in April, when they led the League Two table at the back end of the 2006-07 season.

Now, following a 2-0 win over Notts County at Victoria Park, Pools have gone top of the National League table with seven games remaining.

Most teams below them have several games in hand but that didn’t stop players and fans taking to social media to celebrate Saturday’s big win.
