Pools go into today’s match having secured a fourth place finish in the National League in 2020-21. They face a Bromley side who finished seventh following a run of just one defeat in their final 13 games which included a win over Hartlepool at Hayes Lane last month.
Pools are without Ben Killip (elbow) and Joe Grey (back) but Luke Armstrong is expected to return from illness.
There are a few other minor niggles that Challinor will also have to manage when selecting his side.
