Anderson’s home town of London has been particularly badly hit by the pandemic with around 15,000 cases confirmed in the capital.

“With what’s going on in the world at the moment I feel a responsibility, a desire and a passion to play my part,” Anderson stated.

“My intention is to cover numerous “Myles” (excuse the play on words), in an attempt to hopefully, with your help, raise a substantial amount of money for the charity - NHS Charities Together.

“Beginning on the 7th April 2020, for seven days I will use the one hour a day (that we are permitted to be outside of the home in order to exercise) to get down to the local field, run continuously and be back home all within the hour. Let’s see how many miles we can clock up.

“All of your donations would be warmly welcomed and greatly appreciated.”
