Odusina spent the second half of last season on loan at AFC Fylde under Challinor as he helped the Coasters reach the National League play-off final and win the FA Trophy at Wembley Stadium.

The 20-year-old returned to Norwich in the summer but has since been limited to under-23s squad appearances for the Canaries.

Pools secured the loan signing of defender Macauley Southam-Hales on Thursday and are expected to bolster their back-line with another defensive addition.

Odusina could potentially be Pools’ next arrival though Challinor is keeping his options open as he said: “Hopefully we’ll have one more to add to Macauley today.

“If that all goes through it will hopefully be another defender.”
